Rendham Mummers Winter Solstice Play - Smugglers Ahoy!

As the calendars flip over to December the date that everyone's been looking forward to shines like a beacon, Sunday 21st - The return of the Rendham Mummers for the Winter Solstice Play.
Our latest offering, Smugglers Ahoy, is set in the year 1780. When Dutch sailors land illegal gin ashore one Rendham villager discovers the hidden contraband and helps himself. Soon the poor lad is wanted by both the pirates and the Revenue Men; will he survive? There is only one way to find out, come and join us and help celebrate the year’s shortest day.
There will be a cash collection taken for our chosen charity S.A.F.E (Supported Activities For Everyone) which is a Saxmundham-based charity that provides support and activities for adults with Learning Disabilities.
After the play we will process to the village hall where there will be refreshments of all types, so please bring cash for not only the collection but the after show party at the hall.
Make a note Sunday, December 21st performance starts at 7.30 pm on the Knoll Rendham, refreshments available beforehand,
