The 2026 Sweffling Fete will be held on Saturday 15th August from 1 - 4 pm on Townland Meadow

Sweffling Fete Organisation History

Fetes have been held annually in Sweffling for as long as anyone can remember, either as street fairs or on the Townland Meadow. On 15th April 2019 at Sweffling Village Hut, the 'Sweffling Fete Organisation' was formally adopted at a meeting of 'interested persons residing in Sweffling', organising their first fete in August 2019 under a new constitution. The Committee of Sweffling Fete Organisation (SFO), in accordance with its constitution, adopted 15 April 2019, invites applications for grant funding from individuals or organisations resident or based in Sweffling, who or which propose to undertake a village-based project who or which consider that they or their organisation might benefit from available funding raised by SFO from this year’s Fete.
