A historic military hut, was gifted to the village at the end of WW1. The hut is run by an army of volunteers with a cracking sense of community spirit.

Events are held throughout the year to help our village be a brighter, more vibrant and more resilient place to live. Hut events are not just for residents, new faces are welcomed with excitement and cheer. Check the website for an up-to-date village events calendar. The hut is available to hire for one-off events as well as ongoing bookings and is lucky to have a quiet location ideal for a wide range of occasions (seating capacity is 60, standing capacity is 80).  New for 2023 - the hut will have WiFi!

When we meet (& how often)

Through events in the hut throughout the year.
 
The Committee & Trustees meet informally for event planning ahead of events.
 
The Trustees meet up twice a year in April/May and then again in November for the AGM.
